This was a unique temple. Not exactly all wood as it is proclaimed but I really enjoyed our visit here. It is a nice walk up the stairs with views out of every second floor and some unique displays inside. Highlight of Changzhou.

I visited the temple on a sunny day in march, the impressive buddha statues and the architecture of the buildings were amazing. It's a must-see in Changzhou.

If you are in the area take a couple of hours for a quick walk from downtown to this temple. Unfortunately there is virtually no explanation in English, you need to buy a ticket (20 RMB) to visit the temple. If you want to enjoy...More
