A pleasant day out in the Alentejo. I took my two-year-old, and he enjoyed it although was disappointed at the lack of big animals. The safari itself is on the back of a train pulled by a tractor. It's well organised but a bit uncomfortable due to the rough terrain and lots of dust. Commentary only seemed to be available... More

I took my 12 year old son here and we had a good 4-5 hours looking around. It is not a zoo and apart from the different collection of animals seen during the actual safari, there are not a huge amount of different animals at Badoca. The safari was excellent and there is a huge space for the different species... More

Always a pleasure to watch wild animals! But i think this park is really adressed to children. I Absolutely adored it when I was 10. Now it was okay*

Awesome place to take your kids. Not cheap but definately worth the visit. Lemur feeding session and African Rafting strongly recommended especially in the summer.....

I went to Badoca again because it passed many years since I first went there. With passing years the park got better. Even though it's not my favorite, it's quite enough to give a good classification. NOTE: the rafting attraction only works 30 minutes a day so don't go thinking of it.

We wanted to see the safari park for the kids that were traveling with us. The Lemur exhibit was fantastic. Their island is surrounded by water which keeps them in place. The feeding time was great and they knew when to gather and wait for the goodies to be tossed to them. You could purchase an extra ticket to go... More

We went to the Safari Park today with my daughter (8), who was extremely happy with the "lemurien interraction" which was the highlight of our visit. For the rest the park is small and unimpressive. The playground is not too bad. You can spend a day there if you get bored elswhere. We went in a season when the park... More

Decided to re-visit Badoca and try out the rafting and the safari. Rafting was a disaster as I was lucky enough to get soaking wet during the trip. It was a bi laugth for everyone else but extremely anoying as I needed to chage clothes. This detail is not made avare prior to the trip and fortunately Phone and Documents... More

We went to visit the safari park today (2nd Sept 2015) with our three-year-old son. We weren't sure what to expect... we had pretty low expectations in truth and had planned so that if it only entertained him for an hour that'd be okay. It turned out that there was plenty to amuse him and he really enjoyed it, as... More
