I love the Mega Grocery Store. And now I also love La Comer!! La Comer is amazing. I hear it’s the same owner. So enjoy both!

This is always our first stop. They have just about everything you will need from beer to laundry soap to clothes. It's like a mini Walmart and I like that the locals use it too. They have taxi guys waiting outside for you. *Remember to...More

We packed our beach toys, & floaty's with us. Next trip we will go to the Mega right away and pick up the toys and a beach umbrella. This will save some weight in our bags. You can also pick up food, drinks, clothing or...More

This is our 4th year shopping at Mega. It has most items that you buy at home. Ok the prices are a little higher on most items, but that happens when you want the good you are used too. You can buy any thing at...More

We've been in this grocery store twice when we first arrived Nayarit. They have everything we needed but it's too crowded and one time we were even approached by a time share seller. Go figure. We liked it but La Comer is better which is...More

We always hit up a "Mega" whenever we goto Mexico. Its a great place to pick up things you may have forgotten for your trip--sunscreen, clothing, sandals, swim wear, snacks, etc. A great selection of booze--cheaper than in Canada, that's for sure. Its a clean,...More

There is everything you could need while on vacation. A great shopping experience. Everyone in our party prefers Mega to Walmart. Not nearly as crowded and the people appear more friendly.

This is certainly not a highlight of anyone's vacation, but we really enjoy experiences that reveal more of the local culture without a purely tourist agenda. While the Mega certainly still aims to service the local tourism, it also provides an experience that reveals more...More

Everything you need is here. Fresh fruit, store-made bakery items (like churros yum!), beer, sunblock, and even beachwear is found here. We were even able to pick up an emergency asthma pump at the pharmacy (salbutamol/Ventolin) for $55 pesos when my SO was running low!...More

If you are staying in the area, this is the place to stop and get your supplies. In addition to being a complete modern supermarket, it has domestic goods and hardware. There's an aisle in the middle with "international" groceries.

Yes it does. Plus next store over, they opened a larger store called Le Comer. It carries everything. You can use your credit cards, no problem. We have shopped Mega for the last four years. Also Scotia bank ATM in Mall... More
