Discover the cranberries that make this area unique! The daily Bog to Bottle Discovery at 1 pm is a Canadian Signature Experience. Taste and learn as you follow cranberries on a guided journey from peat bog to award-winning wine. Other 'must dos' include wine & cheese on the scenic patio and browsing for local goodies in the one-of-a-kind wine & gift shop. Hiking and snowshoe trails, GPS and kids' adventures and fall harvest activities are also available. Open daily, year round (Mon-Sun 10-5). Daily tour at 1 pm. Located four minutes north of Bala, in scenic Muskoka.

we went there, but did not take the tour. we purchased cranberry wines, after sampling first, of course, and also purchased a few cranberry condiments. all were excellent. we will take the tour next time as we were on our way to Deerhurst Resort.

Wonderful trails around the marsh, took the easiest and it was nice thru the bush took over an hour, good snow conditions that day, beautiful ice rink also. Areas to sit with bonfires.

Hi, I wasn't there for the tour. Maybe if you called them, they'd tell you. I know that fall is the best time to visit there. Enjoy!
Planning to visit the Johnston cranberry festival just wondering if enroute there is a place to detour for fall colours. We want this to be a day trip to see the cranberry festival and the fall colours. Any ideas please on the routing. Will be driving from Mississauga. Many thanks.

you will be right in the middle of the fall colors , you will see them as you head north from Mississauga and will be in the middle of the color zone where the festival is located , hope this helps . Drive a little further... More
