The beach is stunning with clear blue sea with reaturants the whole way along with some offering free sunbeds and umbrellas. Excellent.

The Black Beach is one of the longest in the Cyclades. We visited this place today and found that the restaurants on the beach were just starting to open in preparation for the coming summer. Our guide said that the beach is extremely crowded during...More

I don't really get the appeal of this beach. The sand is black and there's various washed up flotsam from the ocean. Maybe it's more appealing in summer, but in the off season it really wasn't anything particularly special.

Nice beach but very windy and huge waves in winter and most shops along the waterfront are closed. Definitely a summer destination.

This was a favorite of our whole trip. We took an ATV here twice for the day and parked it right outside of the "beach Bar' free chairs for patrons. We ate and drank and sunbathed. it was very chill and not touristy at all.

Black sand, blue water...What else can you dream of? Felt like in paradise every second I have been there. Stunning beach.

Red, white, and black beaches are all worth seeing once, but come to Perivolos for a stay "at the beach." Try lunch at Sea Side.

It is long, with a promenade full of restaurants. I can imagine it can get pretty busy during the season. Sand is black, with some rocks and water shoes are useful, although not completely necessary. There are options for eating, drinking, beach volley or watersports....More

You can find something within 15 to 30 gbp. Don't get too big a car, get a small economy one: roads are small, you'll never be able to go more than 70 kph. Buses work well if you're on a budget, but you won't be able to get... More
