Interesting because of its history but I would not have made a special journey for this. We were walking the cliff pathway between Dover and Deal so had to pass by. Sadly the Blue Bird tearooms were closed.

We walked up from the beach and were rewarded with a fantastic view. We visited again by car. The approach road is in very poor condition but ok with care.

Lots of parking and next to the Bluebird tea rooms, its a good place to visit and enjoy the cliff top views. We had a very nice walk from here towards Deal and back, not too taxing or strenuous.

I saw this with my daughters on a recent trip. It makes one think of all the history and safety that the channel has provided throughout history. The thinking is cooler than the monument but it is nice.

Small tea house with yummy scones and jam...Amazing view and friendly staff. Very small so might not get a table, we were lucky. Road very bad getting there so drive slow!
