A beautiful day walking on a beautiful beach. The tide was out and our dog had an amazing time. The sand was lovely and firm. We didn't come across any sinking sand. Free parking by the public toilets.

A pebble beach but above walk for our dog. With a nature reserve just off the beach. Parking limited but free. Restrictions for dogs on beach in summer months.

The beach is very clean and tidy. There is a long section to walk right down to Hastings at low tide. However while there is some sand it's mainly shale . Walking is hard work but if your strong enough it's quite an achievement.

Off the beaten path and rarely crowded. A large, very clean pebble beach with sand exposed at low tides. Polite dogs welcome. One can easily walk from Rye Harbour via this beach to Pett Level and enjoy stunning sea views.

We went in search of the beach when we found the museum was closed. It was worth missing the cultural elements of the trip for the peace and quiet, and the flocks of oystercatchers that swept across the shoreline.

Good place to have a lovely long walk with or without dogs. You can walk down from the caravan park or take the car. There are great views both ways.

Small stones and big stones not a good beach for children no evidence of toilet facilities. Think this might suit fishermen

Wonderful sands at low tide, shingle otherwise. Most of it is dog friendly all year. Good walks along the ridge & paths to Rye Harbour through the nature reserve.

The main part,to the West near snack bar has dog-ban thru' the summer; but East of the toilets there is no ban. Signs are clear. The promenade / sea wall is ok for dogs all the way all year.
