Seems most people here skip the Southern most fortification of the Aztec Empire. Rather than following the trail to Punta Cometa, try to travel via this stone wall at the Northern edge of the parking area. It is a bit longer, and a narrow path,...More

Favourite spot in Mazunte to watch the sunset. Bring repellent with you since the sand flies can be annoying.

We went for the sunset and it was amazing! Probably the most stunning sunset in almost 6 months traveling between Ecuador and Mexico. The colors and the light are amazing. A must see while staying in Mazunte! Take proper shoes instead of flip flops!

This spot is a very high vibrational one. Medicine for the mind, body and soul. People often go there for cérémonies, meditation, yoga but also for the beach and the wonderful sunset. Wish you a good time there !
