About Vardia
I’m nature lover and family farm owner. My family has been farming with love for generations. They came to Dubrovnik in 14 century and cultivating the land for Dubrovnik nobility on whose land we are today. With garden for our own needs where tomatoes, lettuce, onions and potatoes grow, we owned a vineyard of 500 vines and 2 olive groves with total of 60 olive trees.

We had a fantastic trip to the vineyard and would highly recommend. Its a fantastic way to see the local countryside and the passion of the owner whose family has been running it for generations is really clear to see. It's refreshingly close to both Cavtat and Dubrovnik meaning a short transfer. It is such an authentic experience to walk amongst the vineyard trees and olives and other delights they grow. Comfortable sheltered seating looking out over the vineyard and the sea was the perfect setting for generous tastings of wine and liquor and olive oil and snacks. Thank you for a wonderful evening

The experience is well described by reviews below. I would recommend it as a lovely way for a family or some friends to spend a couple of hours around sunset to experience a very different Croatia.

We loved everything about our sunset wine tasting with Ivica and his wife, Dominica. We were collected from Mlini and driven to their small vineyard and olive grove in the hills. We tasted everything they produce including bread, olive olive, two types of wine and a liqueur. We were part of a small group of several nationalities and the whole experience was really relaxed, friendly and charming. The view and sunset was really beautiful too. It was great to support Ivica and Dominica’s small family business.

I really can't recommend this wine tour enough - its one of the nicest experiences i've ever had and certainly the best thing we did during our time in Dubrovnik. Ivica is a wonderful host and takes you on a short tour of his families small holding in the hills above dubrovnik where they have a small vineyard and olive grove as well as other trees such as almond, walnuts, cherry etc. Ivica then takes you to a small terrace with tables and chairs and essentially serves you everything that the family produces from their crops - so two lovely white wines, olive oil, grappa, nuts, home made bread etc. All of which is done from a terrace overlooking the hills below and adriatic sea beyond. It's all exceptionally nice.

We can not recommend this enough.! Visiting Vardia vineyards was probably one of the best evenings we had on our trip to Dubrovnik. We absolutely loved it. Ivica made us feel so taken care of that it felt like we where visiting a friend. We got to taste beautifully made wine, liquire, and som homemade snacks. Also their own oliveoil with freshly baked bread that Ivica wife hade made (best bread ever!) The evening was amazing and we watched the beautiful sunset while listening to Ivica passionately telling us about the vineyard and the family history. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Thank you for a unforgettable evening.
