Be prepared to be blown away by the location, the dedication of the gardeners and the vision that created this exceptional garden. It claims to be one of the finest examples of the Art of Topiary and I couldn't disagree. The topiary sculptures, Hornbeam Alley,...More

These gardens are privately owned and maintained by the family. As you enter the reception area, you can tell it is going to be an amazing experience. The shrubs and topiary are hand cut, using 5 inch bladed shears and are measured using string, to...More

This is a superb formal garden, divided into a number of distinct sectors or "rooms", each with a different theme and providing some wonderful vistas, with glimpses of the splendid manor house and other lesser buildings and an enviable swimming pool! The gardens, lawns and...More

We visited today and are unlikely to return. It was a long drive along winding roads and cost 38 euro for our family of 4. The gardens were a bit tedious-nothing compared with Marqueyssac Gardens, which absolutely should not be missed when visiting this area....More

Madam, Thanks for your visit and your comment. The Dordogne region is a region with winding roads, that’s probably why a lot of villages are still preserved and authentic today. We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t appreciate the visit, the entrance fee is expensive...More

Considering we spent hours at Lascaux which cost 16 euros I thought this attraction costing 12.50 euros expensive for what it was. Even though I was with a keen gardener who enjoyed it a lot more than me, we really saw everything in just over...More

Madam, Thanks for your leaving following your visit. The entrance fee may seems expensive but it’s due to the cost of maintenance and the 13 employees and the fact that we don’t receive any subsidie. The ticket is valid all day long so some visitors...More

Les Jardins d'Eyrignac was my first experience of France. The receptionist were very helpful and spoke perfect English. I would visit again.

Living only a mile from Hidcote Gardens in the Cotswolds we naturally compared these gardens with them. The Eyrignac gardens compare very favourably, although they are not as well stocked with different varieties pf plants. That said, we enjoyed the peace and tranquility of these...More

A delightful garden with pristine trimmed hedges, lawns and just a beautiful place to spend a few quiet hours pottering around. The greenery was all lovely and the juxtaposition with the reds of Chinese and Japanese architecture was wonderful When we went back after lunch...More
