We booked the fish lunch option with wine tasting on-line in advance. We arrived early and saw an old man get out of a car and deliver our lunch to the winery, so the food is not prepared on site. The lunch was really good...More

I read online that this winery accepts walk-ins. When we arrived around 4pm, it appeared completely deserted. When we walked in, we asked the two ladies working if they were open. They said they were, but that they wouldn't serve us without a reservation. Apparently...More

We apologise for this experience. Notice there is another review just like yours one on the same day. On that particular day we were waiting for a big group of people (which would require both of our attention), which happened to be quite late. This...More

In the interest of full disclosure, we did not make an appointment. We rolled in there on a whim on a mid-week mid-afternoon. Two employees were present and one table occupied by 3 people doing a tasting (I guess they had an appointment). We were...More

One of the two best winery in Santorini. Very enjoyable time. Make sure to try and buy their fantastic rose wine "4-6" and their amazing desert wine "VInsanto".

Quiet setting beside the water is instantly relaxing with some great local wine, in a very non-rushed setting. We arrived un-announced at opening and were welcomed to a gorgeous setting by the sea, accomodating our somewhat distracted 3 year old. The lady who was serving...More

Gaia winery has a beautiful location right on the water by the sea which makes for a wonderful wine tasting experience. Gaia has its own wines and in particular the Assyrtikos are noteworthy and worth a tasting. During the busy season you'll need reservations, but...More

While in Santorini I visited 3 wineries one day. Due to my philosophy that recognizes differences in individual tastes, I will not revue the wines, but rather the visit. Gaia Winery is located seaside, not far from the airport. The place is lonely and quiet...More

I don't understand some of the critical reviews on here. We walked from Kamari to the winery which took about 25 minutes. It's located right by the beach which made the experience even better. We tasted 4 wines each and this only cost 12e in...More

We used Christos private driving company to take us around to the wineries and whatever else we wanted. Totally worth the cost. His company is black-pearl.gr
