Voted one of the Gold Coast's most popular tourist destinations, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the crown jewel of the National Trust of Australia (Queensland) [NTAQ] properties. As one of Queensland's earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: dedication to conserving our nation's Indigenous, natural and historic heritage and culture. With Blinky Bill now present for daily shows, the amazing viewing experiences available at the Wildlife Hospital and hundreds of native Australian animals on display in natural bushland and rainforest settings, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the ultimate holiday adventure for the entire family.

Lots of friendly animals. Kids and adults love it. Shows all day. Close up and personal like you would never get at a bigger zoo. Clearly they love there animals. They have great big cages and have their welfare as top priority. Lots of education on looking after animals and their environment. All the money you spend goes back to... More

The place is huge and has a lot to offer. There were lots of animals to see and play with. We had our picture taken with a very cute and fluffy koala. That one is priceless. We were also able to see an ongoing procedure in the Wildlife Hospital. I wish there are hospitals like that all over the world.... More

If you are coming from Surfers Paradise, take the tram at Cavill Avenue and stop at Broadbeach South Station. Then take 700 which will bring you there. The bus ride is about half an hour. Kids will enjoy their time here as they get up close and personal with kangaroos. For Aud2, the can buy food to feed the kangaroos.... More

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is perfect for family outings. There were 10 of us -- and we enjoyed it so much. My American grandchildren couldn't get enough of the kangaroos and koalas. The ambiance is lovely - very natural. Pre-book your tickets to get good discounts. Take water - lots of walking. Take your own picnic or buy from the reasonably... More

Me and my family visited Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on 3 December 2016. This is a very good place for tourists and even locals to visit. Firstly, there were the koala picture session but one thing which we were not impressed with is we need to pay $25 for a normal koala photo and only for a person each.( for hugging... More

The Sanctuary was not a big set up. Of course I was not expecting a zoo and the tickets were rather pricey. So remember to purchase it online. It's cheaper.

I loved my day at the Wildlife Sanctuary. I hugged a koala and it was absolutely amazing. The food sold was the only down side, not that impressed. But the attractions themselves were an absolute treat. Highly recommended. Slightly concerned about an Aboriginal Dance show placed as part of a ´wildlife´theme park.... something to consider.

This animal sanctuary has it all, kids and adults alike, for tourists, families, don't miss visiting this one. Also it has jumping off platforms for young and old. What views from there ! There are so many colorful birds and interesting animals. The volunteers are amazing.

Visited Carrumbin whilst on holiday in the Gold Coast, it was fantastic. The park is full of wonderful animals and birds from all over Australia. There's Kangaroos, Koalas ,Tasmanian Devils, Wallabies and lots of different parrots , Cockatoos and birds of prey. Highlights were feeding the wild lorikeets, hand feeding the Kangaroos ,and most of all holding a Koala. There... More
