Voted one of the Gold Coast's most popular tourist destinations, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the crown jewel of the National Trust of Australia (Queensland) [NTAQ] properties. As one of Queensland's earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: dedication to conserving our nation's Indigenous, natural and historic heritage and culture. With Blinky Bill now present for daily shows, the amazing viewing experiences available at the Wildlife Hospital and hundreds of native Australian animals on display in natural bushland and rainforest settings, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the ultimate holiday adventure for the entire family.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary offs a great opportunity to see native species up close. There is the added attraction of set performances by crocs, the excellent bird show and a group of Aboriginal dancers sharing their culture. Highly recommended.

We saw several zoos, and really enjoyed this one. There are aboriginal dance shows, and bird flights, etc. Allow at least 1/2 day.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary - Treetop Challenge The park its self has been well reviewed and continues to please. This review is about TREE TOP CHALLENGE. It is an extra and you have to pay extra. . TTC is an activity within the park. It costs (2017) about $40 per person and is easy to find once you are there .... More

Went here as we had visitors from over seas with us. Great place to show oversea visitors Oz wildlife vs going to a zoos. Place is well laid out went to bird show and croc show both enjoyable. Its a bit commercial with all the photo opportunities but how else will it fund the great work it does. Our visitors... More

I was lucky enough to visit this incredible sanctuary back in Aug 2016. I was visiting my recently married brother on the Gold Coast and he included a stop here as part of my intro to the Gold Coast. I got to hold a koala, pet a kangaroo, watch the most colorful bird show and walk around the beautifully kept... More

This is my favourite place to take visitors to the Gold Coast. Took our visitors from Germany over Easter and we had a terrific day out. While some of the exhibits are small (eg one Tasmanian devil) this is a good place to visit to see all the iconic Australian animals in one place. Hand feeding kangaroos is a special... More

Whilst visiting my sister in Australia, I was treated to a visit at the sanctuary during my stay. So pleased I went ... a rare gem nestled away in the lush vegetation of Currumbin, Queensland. From beginning to the end, the entire experience left me in awe - from the pristine state of the animal enclosures, to the friendliness of... More

Never expected my 9-year kid could play for more than 3 hours on trees and he found it fascinating and challenging. It was a good experience for a kid as well since he has to learn to move step by step. The experience was well-equipped and safe. Helmet, gloves, harness and security locks were provided with training. The tool secured... More

The family can easily spend a day here. Loads of typical Australian wild life spread over a vast area. You can view the whole place sitting on the park train or jump off and on at the many stops, including a show of native Australia, kangaroo park, crocodile creek, bird sanctuary and dragons! Eating places and playgrounds are scattered through... More
