Swim upstream. Nice for a fresh dip. But too many people now days. Try the national park at the end of currumbin creek road where the water is flowing more and there are many water holes to choose from.

There was a special signpost so I thought was worth a detour It wasn't The water looked polluted and really unless the water is worth going in you might as well picnic on the coast Save your energy

Just a short drive up Currumbin river road from Currumbin on the Gold Coast. Enjoy swimming in natural rock pools after a morning at the beach. A beautiful rainforest valley. Good cafe. Drive a few more kilometres to Mount Cougal National Park. Perfect for picnics and bushwalking. Easy access. Probably the most accessible national park for Gold Coast visitors.

Great facilities usually that have been burnt down by some fool, however the council is making good and working hard to get the amenities back up and running asap. Defiantly worth a looks

Was expecting something entirely different so was very disappointed when we finally arrived. It was a small area, very over crowded with cars and people everywhere. The water looked very brown and uninviting. None of us felt particularly attracted to the place. We didn't stay. We hopped straight back in the car and kept going. There are some lovely bush...
