Really nice place for family, friends and couples. Its a great place to celebrate. I think you now have to pay for parking but its not a lot.

The beach is OK. You have to play for parking spot (unusual in a beach in that region) there's a lot of better beaches around the area to visit.

Very nice to visit. Even is a lot of locals any visitor is welcome. Is clean and very ample. Have lot of parking spaces and there is guards. You can enjoy time with family and friends but you can also have a romantic day at the beach with you partner.

It has a reef where the waves crash and the water came in to like a pond where the kids can enjoy without worries of drowning because of the current/waves/deep. Clear water, clean sand, near some food/beverage stands called Villa Pesquera. You need to park in the street near the beach os pay for a space in a lot in... More

Easy to get to because it is on the main road. The beach has cristaline water and the ocean comes in over the rocks giving it the look of a giant pool. Very close to El gran Cafe Hotel and Restaurant. There is also a camping area next to it.

We went very early for three straight days. Had the place to ourselves pretty much. Beautiful stones that I collected ! Clear warm water.

Calle Sardinera is a private entry to a beautiful beach, where you can spend time in a natural pool with family. Many tourists get confused with Sardinera and Maracayo. Maracayo is a municipal beach with NO PARKING for tourists or locals. What a shame with such a large parking area! You are forced to park outside and become vulnerable to... More

Sardinera Beach isn't very easy to find. At that instant, I spotted a solitary, unmarked palm-lined lane on the other side of the divided road, leading to hazy openness in the distance that surely had to be the ocean. So we banged a quick left, barely avoiding a truck load of pigs, careened into a small parking lot in front... More

Playa Sardinera is one of those "hidden gems" of a beach here in Puerto Rico. There are two "resorts" that are nearby, but generally the great majority of the people you see on the beach are locals. On the weekend, on major holidays, and during the summer the beach is buzzing with activity. I've been going to this beach for... More
