The only access to the Minaret is by road, and a very very rough road at that going west from Bamiyan. You will have to spend 2 nights in chaikhanas probably in Larl and Chakcharan. Completely terrible! Almost got robed, bad transportation horrible food, and flies everywhere, I will never set foot in this place again!! People asking you for money on every turn.
