Very well kept zoological park. Happened to see rare species like snow leopard, red panda etc. A must visit specially for children. There is a lot of walking involved. Don't forget to take an umbrella during rainy season.

Set in natural habit and large enclosures you can't fault the intent of the zoo. I generally find zoos abhorrent but at least the majority of the enclosures aren't cramped (although a couple of the smaller cats could do with a little more space tbh)....More

This zoological park is a great place to visit. The animals are mainly from hills. The beauti is very nice.

Possibly the most beautiful zoo ever. It doesn't feel like a zoo,as if you are in a forest. Beautifully done without taming the natural beauty of that place. Limited numbers of animals but they are in great health, something that we don't get to see...More

I visit this place with family. But comparing Kolkatta Zoo and Darjeeling Zoo is not worth. You see the both zoo pl dont go. Dont waste of time.

Hi, You can get cab in between Rs1000-1500 depending upon cab. For local sight seeing better to take small car. for baba mandir, tchangu lake, border take Innova for full day charge Rs2500~3000 Do some bargain.
