Very pleasant marina and play area, but cameras are not allowed. A great pity, and there was no such problem during my previous visits pre-covid.

loving this place. Great place for morning jog, sight seeing and food hunting. Loving the yacht view. Nyonya Breeze is a must visit restaurant there.

The only place for a walk with a beach front

It's new & clean, nicely maintained as well with lots of eateries, most of which were upscale and catering towards Western tourist.
Nothing much to do except to take a walk by the marina.
Very hot in the afternoon though, with not much shade if you want to walk by the marina.

My partner rent apartment in straits quay marina and its a beautiful place...big apartment...and the view is totallyperfect...from balconny we can see the real beauty og penang...super enjoy having coffe tea ta morning.. and wine at night❤🥰
And so many pubs and restaurant u can choose... having beer before dinner...u can have western and asian food there too...apartment we rent is reasonable price..i love it 100%

Lovely views

A great place for evening walks while enjoying the views of waterfront with yachts and picture perfect sunsets. The restaurants at the waterfront offer a relaxing place to have a meal while enjoying the breeze and the views. There are a lot of empty shop-lots here now but it is still a nice place to visit.

Nice and clean shopping mall

We spent here 2 hours, O. K. took some pictures with the Yachts, ate pasta and cakes in the Starbucks, yes, they have excellent pasta, passed an elegant wine&spirits shop. Bought ice cream. This is a nicely maintained new shopping mall.

Relaxing Stroll along the seafront

This is a beautiful place to be for an evening stroll along the seafront enjoying the sea breeze and sunset. Well paved walkway. Children with skate boards and bicycles playing along the way. It's a relaxing place.
The centre where the shopping mall is with the quayside for the yachts may not be as attractive as other large shopping malls in Penang. But there are a lot of restaurants which face the quay for one to choose from. However, these are not what attracted me. The calm sea, the extended view of the mainland on the other side of the coastal line, and the gentle breeze charm me to this place.

Beautiful sunset view

This is the first time I've ever been to marina, and I'm loving it. It seems a nice place for biking and jogging. The beautiful yachts and sunset view, the evening walk with the smell of sea breeze, everything becomes pieces of my unforgettable memories in Penang.

Penang's own little Monaco - pet-friendly, too

A quaint little mall, with a marina set as the background. If you're a fan of yachts, small and large - this is the place to be.
Prefer the atmosphere during the evening/night - as there are quite a number of night entertainment outlets offering a plethora of good food, decent music (some have live bands) and brilliant atmosphere (sea-breeze etc)
Downside - quite a number of retail outlets are vacant - limited retail experience - go for the F&B instead of retail therapy - IMHO.
All in, a pretty relaxing place to spot yachts over a cuppa

This place is really suitable place for families and friends to relaxing. There we can get food for lunch and dinner, shopping mall, supermarket, cafes & Bars, yacht boats riding and long beach walking...
