For 1 ringgit you get a small but beautifully formed museum telling you all about the different peoples who came to Penang and still live there. Interesting photographs, clothes and artefacts. Well worth an hour of your time.

It is only 1 Ringgit to get in, and it is right in the centre of town, so there's no excuse not to visit! The museum gives a good introduction to the various people who have come to live in Penang, such as the Chinese,...More

For a mere 1 ringgit you can walk around this small museum and learn a lot about Penang's history. It gives you a great insight into how people from China, Thailand and Burma to mention a few, came to these shores. You'll see and learn...More

This museum is surprisingly interesting! You learn a lot about the different ethnic groups that make up Penang and the history of the town. For only 1R it's not a bad way to spend a hot afternoon.

The only Musuem I know in Penang that charges only 1 Ringgit! And inside is a very good, compact history of Penang, Peranakan culture and the British legacy in Penang. It's a pity that not many people come here.
