Interesting shop
Jun 2019 • Solo
This is a souvenir shop but definitely not your average store. It is worth visiting to look inside the well preserved old building with the explanation of its history and original owners, even if you don't buy anything of the wonderful quirky items for sale.

Quaint shop with friendly owner
Jun 2019 • Friends
Enjoyed our short detour into this shop which sells antique home goods like tiffin carriers, tiles, cups, bowls, and so on. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, not too pushy and we ended up buying some gifts for a friend's wedding.

Beautiful Penang souvenir shop
Jul 2018 • Friends
I had to return to this shop each time I visit Penang. They have beautiful and quaint souvenirs from Penang to bring home. My favorite are their Peranakan tiled pictures of Chinese and nonya women etc that they helped framed for me.
Lynn, one of the shop’s assistant is always helpful and service oriented. She would pack my purchases in protected cartons and even deliver them to my hotel each time.
The tiled pictures made their flights safely from Penang to Singapore to USA without a problem .

Interesting and inexpensive local hand work
Nov 2016 • Couples
This lovely little shop is a step above the local tourist junk---they carry some very interesting decorative souvenirs. We found several beautiful items, including some very nicely made painted tiles with women with "Tarkay-style" Asian women. I wanted them all! I ended up with 3, which they carefully wrapped in pre-prepared Styrofoam to ensure the items got home safely. The salespeople are very helpful and, as another reviewer noted, not at all pushy. Prices are good. There are two shops, one on Armenian Street and one on Love Lane. Lots of other beautiful handmade items, as well.

14 Living Story, a small shop in Georgetown, a step back in time, art and souvenirs, walking distance from Khoo Kongsi
Mar 2014 • Family
Hello, we wondered into this shop after visiting Khoo Kongsi and walking around looking at the Penang street art. This is a wonderful little shop, the lady was friendly and not at all pushy, visitors/customers were welcomed to roam at their own pace, upstairs is a space they have reserved and restored lovingly, with lots of antiques and stories, and pieces of art. They have preserved what a traditional living space looked like in these old shop houses now turning quite touristy, with bedrooms, working rooms, and lots of little artifacts and equipment. We had an enjoyable time visiting with three young children of 10, 6 and 4, and bought some little souvenirs, more tasteful choices that some offered elsewhere. You'll enjoy yourselves here, and there is no pressure to purchase. Wonderful work and example of a good souvenir shop and cultural place.
