Its a dam, a big wall across the valley. Malaysia has a water shortage and the reservoir was less than 40% full. You can walk up the steps in the centre of the dam and get a view down to the sea but thats about it there is not much else to see, its a dam. Oh and its in Penang so it will be hot.

Quiet, unpopular attraction but with very picturesque view of a lake. Peaceful site also with a broad, long road for photo taking.

located afew minutes drive from the fishermen village at Teluk Bahang. You can park your car at a car park just after Explore amusement park, and climb up a flight of stairs up to the dam. This dam will take you about an hour to explore. Nothing much to say, except a average view of a dam lake and a nice highland view of the sea. I see afew locals jogging, so I guess it must be a nice place to exercise.

When you drive from the airport to Batu Feringgi you can travel by the coast road or the inland road. If we you take the inland route you will drive past this area, first the lake and then the dam itself. The lake is picturesque and the dam is interesting.
