Visited only the Habitat, planned to go for the zipline but was closed at noon so couldn't make it. I would highly recommend if you love to immerse yourself in the forest, a pleasure experience to find some interesting animals along the road. It is a bit windy here so you should bring something to cover just in case. And also, it is a forest so there are mosquitos, just so you know. The ticket is a bit expensive though. Happy experience overall.

We lucked out with perfect weather for Penang Hill and visiting the gorgeous structure. For the first time ever, I experienced cloud bathing! The clouds were in our faces and we felt it's coolness. The scenic views and well manicured grounds walking through the rainforest/park was a treat too. It was worth queueing up for the tram to get up top. We had lunch at the hawker stalls and that wasn't very good but there were other lunch stops there and restaurants.

Spectacular views of rainforest from a sturdy (non-swaying!) concrete canopy walk. Then up to Curtis Crest, an elevated circular walkway with great vistas. Please be mindful of kids, the elderly, or those who suffer from vertigo, if any of these are in your party. It's not really that scary, but some people may be slightly nervous and need to be supported. The walkway is fairly narrow in width, so avoid crowded times.

To their credit, there are no signs of the sloppiness that often infects attractions after a while. The cafe, toilets and facilities are all in excellent condition, and the young staff are helpful.

We did the VR experience, which has a quick intro by Jane Goodall and then is a sequence of animals, up close and personal. It's quite fun. The headsets are heavy - if there are no kid-sized ones around, parents might like to gently support their kids' VR helmets with their hands.

PS: Do not go up Penang Hill on the train without a FAST LANE ticket. The crowds at peak hours/days are insane. The fast lane is a lot quicker.

I could spend days in this place... Once you sit down and let the atmosphere get to you, you'll start seeing life emerging from the forest. Monkeys of all kinds moving in the trees, squirrels, bats, birds, the place comes alive, and you're just there watching all this, quietly. Just fabulous!

This is my 3rd visit to The Habitat. I had two wonderful experiences previously and was expecting to be wowed again. Unfortunately, this visit was lacklustre and we left quite disappointed. Nothing much has improved since my visit in 2018. The guided tours which I really enjoyed were only available for groups of 10. I guess it's a good place to visit if you have money to spare, travelling in a big group, and are starved for greenery, because Habitat delivers on greenery, but I wouldn't recommend it for those who have been there before and are looking to discover something new.

This is such a great place, you get to be in a luscious rainforest without going through a hike. We went with a toddler and brought a stroller, so the tarred trails were a plus point. To us it’s easy to walk, only some stairs. There were water fountains along the trail. Views were spectacular, the air was so refreshing and cooling. Best of all there weren’t any mosquitoes when we were there!

We went there as a family of five with elderly and young children. When we reached the top, the air was so refreshing and cooling. There was even face painting when you exit from the funicular. The view was so beautiful and walk was easy for us. High recommend one of the must go place when you visit Penang!

This is my first time to Habitat Penang Hill. It is absolutely amazing. We were both absolutely amazed with the views and soaking in the surrounding nature. The staff from the ticketing counter were all super friendly too and it just made the visit all that much better.
