This is a beautiful very quite family oriented beach. I spent four days in this area and really enjoyed the laid back pace.

I love this area because there is a cute villa with lots of shops and restaurants, everything in walking distance, the great Save the turtles project called TAMAR and some of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. Few waves so great for kids.

Just ignore the floating plastic and jump in the water - narrow beach at the plaza in Praia do Forte. Reefs border each side which are great to explore with sandals. Lots of tourists and beach side dining. R$15 for a 600ml Eisenbahn
