Quite an experience travelling down through underground caverns! Exceptional tour guides. While the actual tour is physically easy the stairs returning to the starting point could prove challenging for those with mobility issues.

What a great experience! It has taken us too long to make the trip out from Ottawa - it's very do-able as a day trip. We did lunch in Eganville and spent a very pleasant couple of hours. The caves are accessible only with a guide. The young local staff were super friendly. The tour was interesting, a mix of... More

Very interesting and informative. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and developed a great rapport with the children in our group. We visited in July 2016, and the caves were a great relief from the summer heat and humidity. A 3 star rating as the washrooms desperately need cleaning/repair.

Visited the Bonnechere caves mid week in September. The caves are a fascinating experience. The tour gives you a very informative talk about the formation of the caves and the fossils that are found locally. While in the cave we did see some bats. Highly recommended when in the Ottawa Valley.

From the classiest outhouses in the Ottawa Valley to the personable tour guides, this destination is full of surprises. Bonnechere Caves is off the beaten track, but totally worthwhile. Be ready for an underground adventure. We got a little damp and dirty, but we'll never forget the the experience of squeezing through fissures and feeling like we were right inside... More

The leader of the tour was great--knowledgeable and funny. This is a short tour (about 1 hour) and just something you need to see.

This is a great attraction to visit if you are in the area. The host (Chris?) and Kyle the tour guide were a wealth of information with Kyle being quite animated during his presentation, great job! There is an alternate side-trip within the cave down a narrow tunnel, take the challenge and you won't regret it. It's short and narrows... More

While touring the Ottawa Valley, we stopped here to see what nature could do with water. There are four falls on the River at this site which provide good photo opportunities. Probably better in the spring. The caves were carved by the river at this point. Guides are friendly and have a good story to tell. Since it was fall,... More

We stopped on our Highland Trail motorcycle trip, and we weren't disapointed! They are very friendly and welcoming for motorcycles, they have a parking spot with foot peg boards on hand. The price was reasonable, especially considering it is privately owned. The guide was funny and made the tour go by fast, but gave out a lot of information. We... More

Toured the caves with friends from Florida and Ottawa. It started with an education on Fossils by our guide Patrick. Then he took us through the caves giving us an extensive history of how the caves were discovered over 60 years ago. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and happy to address any question. It was an hour well spent.
