Whatever remains of this ruin has been reconstituted, sometimes rebuilt to discover this ancien momument. Normally not very crowded, free street parking, it is an imposing structure with the cloister.

This is a beautiful old abbey with a remarkably well preserved adjoining cloister. There is a nice grassy area to wander around and get good vantage points for photos. Plenty of display boards in English as well as French. The Arsenal Museum is next door...More

Very nice historic place wich dates back to the 13th century. Is now only a ruin but it is a must see if you are in Soissons. It is a challenging place to photograph but rewarding when you make it.

Dramatic ruin. Information centre open office hours has a display that is worth a look (in French only). Attached range is closed when the information centre closes.

Beautiful old ruin with some rooms still intact - such as the cellar and the refrectory. A good information centre with translations available.

It is a peaceful and calm place, the view is impressive. There are the ruins of part of this monastery. Even though, it's a spectacular piece of architecture.

If you are in the area make this a must see. In addition, go see the nearby cathedral. This is an extensive ruin and is truly amazing to experience.

This is one of the most beautiful abbeys in France. While much of it has been removed, the towers are fantastic. Such Gothic detail. Very nice visitors center with information of the history of the Abbey, as well as the history of Soissons.
