This temple (Wat) and Chedi is a marvelous visit, but I wouldn't recommend it on a rainy day. :-) Most of the attraction of the temple and Chedi is from the outside with very little to see on the inside. There are many vantage points...More

Like many temples, or 'wats'; as they are called in Thailand, this one is dedicated to a particular Chinese zodiacal sign: the rabbit. This tradition illustrates the close ties Buddhism has across many nations in South East Asia including China and Thailand. As my Thai...More

This temple situated close to the centre of Nan. A bicycle ride to the temple is easy with bicycle lane, really enjoyable and recommended.

I’m a rabbit by Chinese zodiac so good to go to this place. Nice and clean and not overly commercialised.

The Wat is just on the outskirts of Nan . A place to make merit for those born in the year of the rabbit .An impressive reclining Buddha

Located on the outskirts of Nan city, this Wat offers an outstanding view of the city, but unless you are a devout Buddhist, there is little here to arrest your interest.

Great murals on a historic location in the centre of Nan. A must see in Northern Thailand. Some wall paintings are famous for the Thai people, as Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa is for the Europeans visiting Paris.

The major pagoda is beautiful. The scatter building and sala around the area are also worth a visit. Make sure that you dress properly in the temple, otherwise you can borrow sarong that provided before entering to the main building.

It's located on the small mountain around 3 km from down town I recommend you to hire or rent a bicycle to ride. This temple was the biggest pagoda in Nan, 700 years ago with Suthothai architecture styles. Beautiful !
