5hr cruise from Port Colon, by Playa de Americas to Los Gigantes & bottom of Masca trail. Nice yacht the "Shogun", though 2 sails put up for effect and shade from the sun, rather than to sail you as under motor all the time. POSITIVES FIRST Excellent wildlife, though not guaranteed every visit, we saw Pilot Whales, Spotted Dolphins, Common... More

On our recent visit to Tenerife we went on the Shogun at Puerto Colon. The bus picked us up prompt at 10 am in Los Cristianos. We arrived at the boat which looked great in the sunshine , with quite a few people on board already. We were greeted by the crew and captain and boarded. We left the port... More

We got picked up from our hotel to go out on the Shogun. We go every year on the boat, we saw whales and 3 species dolphins and sea turtle this time. They play music on the boat and the guide can speak several languages to keep you involved. It is such an amazing experience seeing the Whales and Dolphins.... More

Had a good time on board, got to see Pilate whales and dolphins, after a while at see we stopped in the most amazing bay where we had a chance to jump over board for a swim. Food and drink is included in the price although beer is €1 but while eating it's happy hour so all FREE, again on... More

I was spectral about the claim of seeing dolphins and whales, as I have been on other boats, many years ago, and saw nothing, but now I see the boats have echo sounders, so the chance of finding something is very much better. Shogun, looks the part,a real wooden boat, no fibre glass rubbish here. Book on the day and... More

It was great to go on a pirate ship. We sat on top deck which had the best views. Seeing the dolphins/whales was a spectacular sight. Food was basic but tasty and drinks 1 euro. Staff were great. Good way to see more of island

Sat on a coach for 2 hours to get there but it was well worth the journey. Lovley hot day good food and drinks but the best was seeing the pilot whales and dolphins swimming in there own environment what a treat . Then we stopped for 45 minutes so people could have a swim . I would recommend this... More

Pro's - we saw a dolphin and loads of pilot whales. Lovely! Crew were brilliantly multilingual, everyone on that boat knew what was going on and there must have been at least 6 languages between us all. Cons - food wasn't great, drinks were meant to be included but didn't seem to be, and 80% of us on that boat... More
