The church up on the hill is very impressive on the outside, yet rather simple on its interior. Walk through a tunnel near the parking lot and you arrive at a small chapel built into the rocks. Beneath it, water flows out of the rocks.

Well worth stopping off here on your way to the lakes. The Basilica itself is fairly 'bare' but worth visiting. Obviously popular for coach visitors.

Another must see in Asturias. If you love the mountains and fresh air, don't miss out on this beautiful place! It really shows the beauty of mountainous Spain.
