We did not stay at the hotel or lodge, but rather did an extended walk with Ireland School of Falconry. The walk took us through the castle gardens and woods. It was quite lovelty, and the views over the lake were stunning.

Very pleasant cruising, there is a small bar that sells coffee and drinks. The islands are spectacular. The Ashford Castle looks great from the boat.

Took the cruise from Ashford Castle. I'm amazed that the crew and their family have been doing this for generations. So personable and friendly. Tons of education on the tour with lots of social time.
