This sanctuary has an interesting history and you should read it from the brochure (cost .5 euros) you can purchase at the church/sanctuary. The interior is very ornate but beautiful and is well worth the visit.

Beautiful little church. Quite nice, especially when considering the church is in a small town, Cannobio, that is a little off the beaten track!

This was a very quite and peaceful chapel and lovely and cool in the very hot 39 degree weather. Lots of beautiful paintings all round the inside and dome.
