Poor place, poor location, practically attached to a main road of a commercial area, poor variety of vehicles except probably of somewhat better selection of motorcycles

We have the award winning Bed and Breakfast, La Casa del Giardiniere, near Stresa, and whenever we have guests, particularly with an engineering background, we send them to this unbelievable , querky museum, which has a huge collection of restored machines, from tractors to aeroplanes, all lovingly restored providing a great insight into social history. Highlights include a fantastic collection... More

We visit the Gottard Park every year with our young children and we all absolutely love it! It's not expensive, there are a couple of covered pic-nic areas and just so much to see. Aircraft, boats, cars and motorbikes- plus some very unusual and hard to identify machines too! We find new things we hadn't seen before every time- There's... More

this "museum" was a surprise: we saw some strange vehicles on the side of the road and decided to stop for a quick visit. it became a long visit. there are many different mopeds, motorbikes, bikes, cars, a few boats, planes and helicopters. there are also some very strange machines like tanks, road rollers and tractors. its very unusual to... Such a shame! One the one hand a rather unique collection of cars, trucks, utility vehicles, bikes, boats, planes, motorbikes... But these are stored and placed in a sad and boring way, most rusty and dirty, almost none accessible ...actually... Neither a museum nor an amusement park... But simply a cemetery

If you are a boy, no matter if 5 or 90, this collection of heavy steel machinery is for you, locomotive, agroculture machines, old planes, motorcycles, cars, and more, much more, we had only an hour, but the boys and I wish we had 90 more minutes (at least)

An excellent museum with some rare exhibits. Especially for people with a passion for sidecars and motorbikes. There are lots of interesting machines that I had never seen before. Not to be missed for anyone travelling in this area.

As most of its vehicles are displayed outside- from the start you know what you are going to get. All types of vintage vehicles from land sea and air are displayed here. Small children were having a fun time, climbing all over. My husband was oohing and aahing over the different vehicles, my teenage daughter took a fancy to the... More
