Other reviews say that rubbish is a big problem but we saw a clean up boat in operation and some teams on the banks. There was some rubbish still but I guess it's much better than it was. The Canon itself is amazing, a highlight. You have to simply see it yourself. We felt a bit wrong but we went... More

Let's hope that you will pick a day when the trash has been cleared from the river. This is a constant problem due to upstream villagers who throw paper plates, soda bottles, etc. into the river. Quite often crcodiles and a wide variety of tropical birds can be glimpsed. You will be awed by the tall canyon walls.

Is a beautiful angle of the world, but all the trash at floating on the river are disturbing. I would anyway suggest to go, for sure !

Beautiful atmosphere, with these huge walls surrounding you. Pelicans and Little blue Heron are easy to spot. Same for the Spider Monkey. We saw also an American Crocodile, but I don't know how easy is to spot. Negative side ? Trash floating everywhere. Disgusting. A shame.

Chiapas is a Paradise. This is a must see place. The beautiful is beyond any expectation. Pictures can't capture all the beautiful of the place. This is the beautiful place I have ever been. The saD part of this history is that there is a place on the river full of trash. Mostly empty bottles. there are like 100 square... More

2 hours of amazing nature: wild animals including birds and crocodiles, waterfalls,... Such a great boat tour to make plenty of beautiful photos! Watch out for sunburns as the boat is not covered!

There is no time schedule for boats. They only drive when they have enough people ready to fill the boat. Even though waiting for almost one hour there, people coming later got priority. They have not bought their tickets before, but the persons on the streets that bring them there get commisson and ensure that people come. Summary: very unprofessonal... More

About two hours of sailing in a very impressive Canyon. You see a lot of birds but only few other animals. Some crocodiles, two monkeys.... Not understood why there is a lot if junk in the middle of it. Couldn't they clean it? If not for themselves then at least for the tourists. We have done it in a crowded... More

a must-see in Chiapas! it's a great place for photographers, and a nice peaceful experience for all types of travelers. I took the boat ride, making the stop for zip lining and holding monkeys :)

Beautiful gorge in Chiapas. Not to be missed when in the area if you love nature and seeing some wild animals. We saw crocodiles, vultures, a couple of monkeys, pelicans and some other birds. The gorge is 1000 meters high at one point.
