I have a thing for mission style churches, so I sought them out on my trip to Ibiza. I was able to get into many, but not this one. However, the view at the back of the church is absolutely GORGEOUS! I also ate at the cafe across the plaza which was also nice.

only few houses. and nice church. and then bunch of really expencive villas on the clifs. there is one tired road going down hill and there is one platform (or undedicated building ground), where you can put down the cloth and enyoj the sunset.

We went to Es Cubells for the views of the cliffs and I was quite surprised about the architecture of this church. Besides, the area is quite relaxed, which I also appreciated.

A stone throw from San Josep Es Cubells is a secluded little place with tow restaurants on the main square. One had breathtaking views over the ocean and is 15 meters from the church. It is a really good spot to have a break after driving along the coast and stoppping at all the calas.

If one likes a quiet spot with some history and a decent restaurant/bar it can make a change from the main holiday areas. The road ends at the village and so one has to make detour. It is only worth visiting if one is touring the area - then it is - but not really worth a special visit. There... More

The most beautiful view i Ibiza is from the church of Es Cubell's. There is not a lot of houses around, and the view on the sea below is just amazing. The local restaurant in front of the church has excellent service, for a drink after the visit as for a meal.

Beautiful traditional church in a spectacular location overlooking the coastline of Ibiza. The church is at the centre of this quiet little village with a couple of nice looking bar/restaurants.

This little village- is well worth a visit. It is simply beautiful! A few restaurants serving delicious food, centered round a beautiful church, and then views of the sea.

If you make a point to head here you won't be disappointed. It's a gorgeous little town square with a pretty church and the backdrop of the most amazing unobscured view out to sea. You can get some traditional spanish food in the restaurant, or climb down the stairway down to the water. I've also been lucky enough to bump... More
