A lovely park on a sunny day.

Really enjoyed. Only blip was we found the trails map (orange leaflet) was difficult to follow. Couldn't find coloured arrows that are meant to show the way.

I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to the Park although I'm disappointed you had a problem with the trail map. We don't have an orange leaflet as such so if you can let us know, by emailing info@clydemuirshiel.co.uk, the name of the leaflet or the name of the trail you were trying to follow we will certainly look into it.... A great day out for the whole family with boats and bicycles for hire. Lovely walks along the lock and a lovely tearoom to have a good cuppa on a cold day. The swans and geese have taken over a section of the loch but loves the attention the children give them. Next to the loch is Bird Watching opportunities... More

We're glad you enjoyed the weather and the wildlife on your visit to Castle Semple Country Park. The coffee shop with the lovely views over the loch is certainly a great place to warm up on a cold day. Please note our Bike Hire is provided by RT Cycles - during the winter months it is best to phone or... More

I did my BCU 2 star training and award here and the facility is top notch. The staff are fully upto speed with disability awareness and could not have been more helpful. The equipment and facilities are excellent. I had a total of three days on the water here and felt safe despite the storm force winds for one of... More

We are regular visitors here and love it. It is a great way to spend an afternoon - there is a well trodden path for walking beside the loch; there is a lovely little coffee shop, also selling small gifts and cards and there is the loch itself, complete with boaters and birdlife. Sunday afternoons are particularly pleasant (weather permitting)... More

Luckily it was a lovely day when we had a walk around this lovely park. You can feed the birds or just sit and watch them. Nice wee café too.

Castle Semple is a lovely little spot on the edge of Lochwinnoch with easy access to the UK cycle track route and also several country walks. It is within a short distance of the RSPB centre also on the outskirts of the village. The tea room at Castle Semple is quite basic but adequate and clean.

Great place to drop into for a walk around the loch, can head into the woods or just sit and watch the swans, geese, gulls ducks and many other birds. There is a cafe where you can get basic refreshments teas coffees, cakes crisps, sweets and a cold ice-cream or lolly ice on a hot day. Staff are always friendly... More

I live here do I'm a bit biased ...... Sometimes don't appreciate what is right here on your own doorstep. Such a lot to offer visitors - from the park itself, though the woods, exploring ruins on foot or on your bike to sailing, wind surfing and rowing. So much to do and try.

There are some fantastic walks around the centre as well as water sports on the Loch. We went on a sunny evening and only thing which would have made it better was it the cafe or shop was open for drinks. The area around was very busy and the centre could be missing out.
