Beautiful little church in Coloane just by the waterfront. Very colourful and pretty. Unfortunately I didn't go inside at the time and I regret it now. Well worth a quick visit.

The Church was built in 1928, located in the middle of Coloane, a peaceful village away from the artificial tourist attractions, on the southwestern coast It is a small beautiful baroque-style Chapel, once held some important Christian relics, including the bone from the arm of St Francis Xavier, and the remains of foreign and Japanese Catholic priests who were killed... The size is compact, cant compare with the old town church. If you just want to come for foto shooting, u might be disappointed to its scare and internal decoration, btw, its easy to find.

I didn't manage to visit the interior, as I was on my way to Ruins of St. Paul's and was passing by. But I did stop to admire the exterior and I love the colours of this cathedral so much. Definitely not your usual expectations when it comes to a cathedral. Against the blue skies, it makes for a really... More

I have seen quite a few churches in my life. This is hands down one of the most colorful exteriors that I have seen. The interior is not as ornate but so light filled.

One of the best representations of the colonial era in Coloane Village is the small square in front of Chapel of St. Francis Xavier. This is a quaint little spot that seems lost in time. Here you will see a memorial column that is almost always surrounded with flowerpots, two small fountain pools also front the square which is surfaced... More

This was once one of the famous church of Macau. The outside color of the church was very unite. Inside the church was very basic and simple. Around the church has some small restaurants and also has a very nice river view of the other side of Macau.

Located at the bottom of the hill of the Ruins of St Paul, this church looks like a wedding cake. Worth a visit.

This is the window to the area's Christian past. The church is well maintained and located in the heart of old European quarters of the city. Approach roads are narrow and mostly one-way traffic is allowed. So be ready to rub shoulders in the crowd. Good place for tourists to spend about one hour and pick some nice pictures. One... More
