In the immediate vicinity of the ruins of the cathedral st. Paul. From here you can enjoy excellent views over the entire center of Macau. Here is the Macau Museum.

Climbed up the short but exhausting steps to reach this beautifully preserved fort adjacent to St Paul's ruins. It contains the museum of Macao for those wanting an introduction to the colony's history as well as some stunning views of the city, old and new.

We visited the fort recently and enjoyed viewing the various cannons and the view over Macau old town. The fort is in good repair and was interesting to see

Fort is small and steep. But due to escalator going up easy. Some good photographic point. Otherwise nothing is worth. We took maccau site seen tour and found it ok experience.

This place is next to the Ruins of St. Paul so it wasn't hard to find. The walk to the fortress took us about 10-15 mins. The views at the top were beautiful and "instagram worthy". It was very historical and great for pictures.

It takes approximately 10 mins to go up the fortress after climbing a long flights of stairs. However, I subsequently noticed that the fortress is also accessible via the Macau Museum in which there are escalators from the bottom of the hill to the fortress. For your consideration if you are travel partners have walking difficulties. The view from the... More
