From Travessa do Mastro to R. da Felicidado in Macau, an area that you could eat street food, Ming Kei Beef Stripes, Cheong Kei Noodles, Sam Yuen Congee and a small dessert shop near by. Don't forget to buy freshly made almond cakes (Chinese cookies)...More

The name Rua de Felicidade (Street of Joy) speaks to the bygone history of this location, that being a place of many different vices. These days the street is nothing more than a attractive tourist attraction, a neat place to visit near the Historic Centre...More

The Street Of Happiness. Historically it was the red light district. It was also used for scenes in the movie Indiana Jones and the Temple Of Doom. Now an interesting street with some eateries and some retail shops. Lots of shark fin, birds nest and...More

Heard of the old street in Macau and wanted to visit it. The old street is just walking distance away from the Sedano Square, roughly about 10 mins of walking. When we reached there most of the shops are closed, mostly are selling related to...More

It should be called "Red street" instead of "Felicidade Street", like the "Red Light district". It has a distinct Chinese aspect and it is nice to stroll around (shops, restaurants...)

An interesting area around the Historic Centre of Macau that is interestingly not included in the UNESCO World Heritage collection is the historic Rua da Felicidade. This is a bygone Red Light district in Macau that is forever painted nearly entirely in Red - given...More

Good place to take a pictures. Red all the way. If Senado is more like European style sight, this is Chinese traditional sight. Few restaurants are available so you can find a place to eat, too.

This is a good area to look for food and souvenirs. Despite its past as a red light area, it is now a squeaky clean area ( you are more likely to find the ladies of the night hanging in the casinos than here). Recommended...More

A very scenic and historical part of Macau offering many Portuguese restaurant and quaint shops. This area has been preserved and rightly so. The red sliding doors with pole gates are very colorful as with the past!!
