My mother and I spent 2 nights at the Bivouac sous les Etoiles in their recently opened Star Camp Lodge in early January this year. The owner, Hassan, and his crew were the kindest and warmest people we met on our trip and the Sahara experience we had with them was incredible. It was obvious that they truly knew and... More

After visiting Bivouac sous les Etoiles two camps last year, we decided to return to spend a bit more time in the desert. Part of our trip involved a two night camel trek covering some of the route out to Chigaga. All I can say is it was wonderful. As a family of five (with kids of 15, 13 and... More

We booked the classical 48-hour tour from Mhamid: 1 day by camel in a bivouac and 1 day by 4WD to Chigaga. Hamza and the two camel guys were really helpful, always willing to share interesting stories about Berbere culture and cooking delicious meals! :) Would recommend 100%!

We had the 2-days tour with depart from Marrakesh "2 Jours : Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Zagora - Ouarzazate - Marrakech". The places visited were amazing and the tour was fun. The service was excellent, the food traditional and really tasty. Our first day stops were at the historical Ait Ben Haddou and Zagora for 2-hours camel ride.... More

We had arranged a 10 day tour with Bivouac sous les Etoiles going from Marrakesh via Ait ben Haddou to Todra Gorge over the Jbel Saghro massivs to Zagora and then the desert and back via Foum Z'guid to the Finnt oasis ending in Essaouira via the tizi-n-tichka pass. And it is probably the most magical thing we have ever... More

Thank you Hassan for such a beautiful circuit… Bivouac sous les etoiles listens to your demands and make it happen. In fact, they even made it better than I could ever have dreamt of. This year for my 40th birthday, I wanted to organise a special holiday with my friends… my wish was to explore some of the hidden spots... More

Be prepared for going back to the basics in life. Great host and unforgettable experience. For us from the tropical countries it was very cold in Sahara in the month of December.. Some New Yorker guy went jogging in the freezing dawn, must be like home to him. Good food, basic but sufficient. Plenty of rocket salad otw to the... More

My partner and I made it down to M'Hamid after dodging floods on the main road. The operator is located on the left street at the roundabout/fork on the right. We arrived for our 1300 tour time, but they had us wait a few hours before we left. We had lunch in the restaurant next door and they came to... More

Friendly helpful, and did their best. Could have had a chattier guide but he still showed us the sights. The camp is well isolated, and just inside the dunes. They don't accept card payments and there is NO CASH MACHINE untill you get to a town that is 1h30 away....

If you are in Morocco, it is definitely something you must do. All the staff are so nice and always there to answer your questions. They love their job and that's what makes it beautiful. The desert is so nice and you have to do that once in your life !
