Hurulu Park

It's a elephant heaven, it's used as a temporary stay while moving from Kaudulla National Park to Minneriya,

Huluru is just a temporary solution for the rainy season (Autumn months), when the elephants have left Minneriya. Do not go there during any other time, Minneriya is the best place to see animals and enjoy year round, as every jeep driver with testify. Do not trust local companies that tells you otherwise.

Was expecting to see a village of elephants together, as mentioned in other reviews and the tour agent. But they were just 3-4 at a time. However we enjoyed it. Especially my daughter

This is a mad made park but can see elephants most of the time of year. We went there 2-3 times & every time we visited able to see them. Not a quite adventure safari when you compare with other parks in Sri Lanka

I visited this park in april. its on of the few national parks in srilanka where you get to see elephants in a close distance. However except the elephants it's incredibly difficult to see other animals such as leopards and jackails since its a dense forest. At times it gets very interesting. Once one huge bull elephant got annoyed by... More

Difficult seeing the indian elephants at first, but ended up seeing a whole family plus a leopard in a tree! Bumpy ride, but worth to see the beautiful nature of Sri Lanka.

What a great experience. Managed to get up close to several of these majestic beasts in their natural environment. Beautiful to see.

Best place to sight elephants during monsoon and can do some bird watching..I recommend to do a safari early in the morning or late in the evening.
