A few snackbar/coffee shops and it has no real character, The old town with the more upmarket eating facilities and the church and the views are more what tourists will enjoy

The town hall square blends the old and new of Altea.Tourist information office is here. Bars and restaurants around the area, and the main street with plenty of varied shops and the municipal market.

This town square is a lovely location to enjoy a cold beer or a nice coffee in one of the cafe's or bar's and do some people watching. There are plenty of shops just off the square and the train station is quite close.

A lovely little village, set high on a hill. Views toward benidorm were fabulous and it was easy to reach by bus for a fiver.

Well worth the steep climb up the hill, to enjoy the ambience, the bars, but most of all the amazing views
