Four of us attended an open match today. As always, the organisation was sound, the members and staff very accommodating and the course at its usual high standard. The weather was favourable with a mainly easterly wind which helped a wee bit. The course presents good golfing challenges throughout the entire 18 holes. Undulating greens, close cut grass, tricky pin... More

Attended Burnham & Berrow Golf Club for a tournament over the weekend of 25th and 26tth March. Catering was very good considering there were around 100 golfers attending the event, in addition to their normal diners and golfers. The golf course is top class, as always and if you are a keen golfer, you simply must play this classic old... More

Rated 31st best course in the UK. The course is superb, challenging undulating greens, at times narrow fairways, excellent views, particularly from the fourth tee, with stunning views across the Bristol Channel. Green keepers do an amazing job, continually upgrading the course, with a lot done over the last 6 months, moving tee positions and general tweaking to ensure its... More

We booked this course as it came highly recommended. First impressions were great with a lovely looking clubhouse and pro shop. The staff were very polite and courteous. We started on the Channel course which was a test in itself. The wind blowing off the sea made the first few holes very challenging for a fader. After our bacon roll... More

Played in the winter with the wind howling and I think you always like a course more the better you play, however it's hard to see why anyone would have a bad thing to say about B and B. Quality course and greens are fantastic so true and it's February! Great speed and gives you a lot of confidence on... More

The weather was very unsettled so I did not make a reservation. When I arrived it was clearing so was able to book a room in the dormy and a round on the Championship Course the next day. That evening had an opportunity to play nine holes on the Channels Course. At less than 1/3 the price of its "big... More

Society golf day at this golf course. Breakfast was had before hand which was excellent and filling. Golf course was in fantastic shape. Testing with some blind holes but greens were maintained to excellent standard. There was something for everyone key was to keep straight and plot your way round. After good game of golf with great views retired to... More

Decent course and pro shop but don't bother with the clubhouse. Poor service and food. I suggest taking sandwiches and a flask of tea. Or better still, give it a miss completely and go to Royal North Devon GC.
