Popped in here for a quick drink around 10:30pm, only a few local lads playing pool, bigger than it looks from the outside, the outside does need a bit of a face lift, this lets it down, nice friendly lady serving on the bar.

This is my local Weatherspoons, it is drab and dingy and is need of refurbishment. Ladies toilets are disgusting, don't think they know what bleach is. Food is ok but service is not, not their fault as never enough staff.

We had been before so were returning for the go carts and f1 simulator. The queue for the go carts was rediculas. So some of our group came away very disappointed.

On a Sunday afternoon there is no better place to be but at the pier tavern if you like your rock and roll. The landlady and staff are lovely and very accommodating.

I came here for a quiet drink as the pub seemed empty. The service was poor and the attitude of the staff was appalling! There was rubbish all over the tables and floors. No toilet roll in bathrooms and the woman that owns the pub...More

Such a big pub but everytime I have been past here it is virtually empty. We called in whilst waiting for the bus and was disappointed that it was almost dead. It does have some strong competition next door but The Pier Tavern does offer...More

Great little bar. Reasonable prices and great for karaoke! Locals friendly and easy to talk to. Only disappointment was the smell of smoke which drifted in when someone stood near front entrance to smoke but maybe I am just being pedantic as a non smoker....More
