Built over a man made lake, The Mines Shopping Mall offers a short cruises from the ground level. A unique novelty experience. Enjoy a relaxing cruise after exploring the array of stores and services offered on site.

Haven't been here in years; glad to find out it's still relevant. So many shops and restaurants, cinema's still operating, and river cruise was still on. Loved the fact that the river cruise guy actually noticed some big lizards swimming nearby and drove the boat towards them. He was skilled enough to float the boat whilst the engine's off so that it wouldn't disturb the lizards. We were able to see them up close. Kudos again to the river cruise guy who drove us that afternoon!

We came upon this Mall and was pleasantly surprised by the size of it.
Loads of variety from upmarket stores to markets in the mall.
Lovely atmosphere and loved the boats on which you can do a trip around the lakes or back to the hotel.
Worth a visit

Don't think of wasting your time at Mines wonderland/shopping Mall. Taxi driver told us not to go, but we thought it might be a good place to spend one evening. After paying 50 ringgit taxi fair & 45 min travel time from Bukit Bintang. Tour was total disappointment, Mines Wonderland theme park is almost closed but they still selling ticket to tourist like us to make them fool, lake is totally messed, as well shopping mall

Took a boat ride at night, which costs rm25 per adult. Nothing to see except some dark and eerie abandoned buildings along the river bank. Hardly any light and all we could see other than haunted houses were bushes lying in the dark.
A horrible experience as the dark surrounded the boat was so eerie that one would mistaken it for a Halloween activity.
Please avoid the boat ride at all cost no matter what other reviews tell you.

I don't know why they start late on 6pm, thier theme park at night is very bad, and I think if it is in the morning time is beter.
Second, the ticket price is high " RM 35" since a little shows ( only dancing fountain) and little attractions.
Third, I faced a problem with one of your staff, his communication skills was very bad.

I think it is a great place but the ticket price is not reasonable..I eagerly want to see something interesting but none!! They should improve all the equipments, surroundings and also the ticket price. RM35 is not worth it. The gov always promote 'cuti-cuti Msia' but how come people ant to come here if there is nothing attractive to see a nd also the price is not affordable..
I suggest to make some improvement and also promote this place. I think if it is open from 3pm its better..

Hi. I'm staying in bukit bintang. Can you please tell me the cheapest way to go to the mines?
Written 10 October 2017
If you can, take an Uber. We didn't and took a cab though and on average it cost about RM45 to 55 from the mines area to the Pavilion area, near Bukit Bintang.
