Brilliant! Great selection of animals on the walk in, this place is not just about the birds! The bird bit is outside, but there's also a good indoor section to walk around after the bird performance.

A great hands on experience, one of the best free flight bird shows we have been to. Staff so friendly obviously love what they do and so knowledgable. Everyone was included in the show which made it feel more special. The birds were amazing and the little petting zoo was a little gem. Will be recommending all the family pay... More

I had the Irish Raptor Centre on my ‘to do’ list on our tour around Ireland and I was not disappointed. Located the centre off the beaten track and was greeted by friendly staff who told us to watch out for the wandering Canadian geese who might give us a nip if we went too close. As you wandered around... More

We love this place and try to get down once a year. Its fun, informative and a great place to spend time together as a family because you can wander about when the show isn't on. The petting area is great for any age. All sorts of animals. The raptor show is always amazing and seriously funny. The staff are... More

I don't ever leave reviews for places on trip advisor so this says a lot when I say you must come visit this place! This was one of the highlights of our trip 1) The bird show went above and beyond expectations. Beautiful big birds of prey: eagle owls, barn owls, Eagles, Hawks! and you get to get up close... It's a little hard to find, but absolutely worth the effort. The sanctuary is situated on 27 hectares, and is home to about 350 birds and animals = c75 species. They hold an interactive bird of prey display twice a day come rain or shine. It's held outside in fair weather and under cover in inclement weather. We were absolutely blown... More

Were lucky enough to catch a show before the end of the season. Small audience but this made the show even better and the staff were both passionate and knowledgeable. The show has tonnes of great camera moments. Afterwards there is a small petting farm and some enclosures showing more animals. Great place.

An incredible, up close and in your face birds of prey show featuring a large collection of absolutely amazing birds. The owner, a very funny biologist, has sheltered and nurtured these birds (as well as other animals ) when their original owners were unable or unwilling to care for them. Magnificent owl eagles, golden eagle, bald eagle, etc, etc. Great... More
