This is Mactan's finest tourist spot, See the statue and beautiful gardens and finish off looking at the great souvenir shops. There are some great ukulele and guitar sellers and if you go towards the amazing fish restaurant there are the best stores to shop....More

Very substantial. I found the Shrine and the surrounds - there are so many other attractions to see in the immediate vicinity - fascinating. Improved my knowledge of the Spanish colonisation of the Philippines.

The shrine is free to enter and is conveniently located next to the Lapu-Lapu statue. Nice bit of history to see and it's very well maintained. Nice tourist shops next to the shrine if you need any souvenirs. The shrine is also open at night....More
