Well worth the visit. The site would really benefit by having English signage. Bring a flashlight or phone to see the underground spaces.

"Really interesting place to visit , almost 4 kilometres of trenches , bunkers and cannon and machine gun installations. Worth the visit if one is interested in history from the second world war."

You can enter the lighthouse and have a great view or wander through the dunes. In there you can take look at the bunkers or you can take a guided tour.

As its free to visit it's worth a look round. Some of the bunkers are inaccessible due to being locked up but it give a good impression of what it must have been like

It was fascinating to walk around the bunker complex and contemplate the construction task involved in building the Atlantic Wall but we felt there were some significant shortcomings - the brochure map is poor, there is no defined route through the complex and unlike almost every other tourist site we have visited in Denmark there is no English translation of... Very interesting to see and read about the bunkers from WW2. The museum is free of charge and you get a good perspective of them from below the ground and also from the lighthouse.

Walked around for a while. Nice walk when the weather is good. You see old bunkers, not much more. The children climbed and ran around.

Museum lies on a terrain that is covered with steep hills and right in the beach. It has over 50 bunkers that can be visited all year long and are opened all hours (except for the lighthouse). We had great time of exploring different types of bunkers and taking photos of an amazing landscape. If you hesitate if to visit... More

Although the weather was quite wet, it was a worthwhile walk around the bunker area, gun emplacements, search light bases, explosive stores etc. An easy enough walk from the town centre, about a kilometre, but there's a convenient car park if needed. And the whole thing is free!

Interesting to see the scale and extent of the coastal battery and to learn a bit more about our shared past.
