Worth visiting. The priest was very helpful in answering questions. You can also visit the women's monastery a few doors away. These nuns are famed for their silk products.

The interior is fantastic and so well decorated. However, an A/C is recommended, as the humidity in Kalamata is always high and you can't stay there for long.

We went there with a friend. The church is very nice both inside and outside and the view above it is very beautiful. It is near the historical center.
