This falls is located at the ridge of the Ecopark at Mawsmai and is one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Though can seem to be disappointing during winter, the falls shows its entire splendor during the monsoons.

We drove to Cherrapunjee from Dawki and it took almost 3 hours to reach the place. Our reliable Cab driver from Shillong, Mr. Shankar Kuri (+919856080770) knew the area well and the road was really foggy with little visibility but he managed to safely drive us to our destination without any issues. . On those areas, you minimum need a... More

This water falls is a beauty of the town and viewpoint is close to the main market. As soon as I opened the window at the Phatang Homestay what I saw was that I have always dreamed of. The clouds covered the town and nothing was visible. After the shower I could see the surrounding clearly. What I saw was... More

In November there was more than 20 days dry fall and hence water was very less. However, beautiful scene.

This is the prime attraction in Cherrapunji and definitely worth a visit when you are in Cherrapunji. Its a huge valley in front of this fall, which only makes the picturesque valley view experience more lively and larger than life. One should not give this a miss...must visit.

Its a good falls where you can see several streams coming down from mountains. The time of the year is important to have a look of all 7 falls which combines as seven sisters. You need to depend on the weather also as fogs can block the view. 1 km distant from Mawsmai Caves.
