We only had a look at this beach during a short visit to Rasdhoo from Kuramathi. Like many of the Maldives Islands this beach is of pure whit sands and clear blue water. This beach can't be visited by locals

Bikini beach is seriously overrated. We got to know about bikini beach and thought that this was one thing we should experience. This place is in Maafushi and is marked as excellent. Turns out that this place is not worth it at all. It’s a...More

Good clean beach, not so crowded. However there are many stones in the water near the shore. There are enough seating areas/decks arranged on the beach.

Bikini beach during july had up to 10 tourists at the same time, so pleanty of sun beds with lots of shade. One can see sting ray and bay sharks even when wolking on the shore. For snorkeling during low tide is better to have...More

The beach has some really comfortable beach loungers but is quite small and the main problems are three: -the island power generator that you are going to hear the whole day -the really low sea level -the massive amount of algae near the beach

A lovely walk on the beach. Picture perfect. Relaxed, loads of places to rest and shade under the palm trees what more can you ask for.

Excellent beach! Everything that is necessary, any excesses. Nearby in water there are corals, it is desirable to have footwear.

the beach is nice but not very long. There were about 30-40 benches, but I am not sure if it is enough at high season when the island is full of tourists. Rays and small nursing sharks were swimming just at the beach. Snorkling at...More

Sorry for the delay! Yes the coral is close to the beach and the water is calm in that area so you should be fine. Bring aqua shoes so your feet don’t get damaged by the coral. Enjoy!
