San Quirico is a wonderful village without crowds of tourists surrounded by beautiful scenery, great wine, nice restaurants and some lovely churches, a definite should include village when in the Val d'Orcia. This church is, medieval, simple in structure with beautiful art. Serene, lovely.

A church that has a visually appealing exterior and beautiful interior. Fairly simple interior which we like and with the very calm atmosphere which we also like in a church - no overly ornate decoration Some good exterior stonework - we have a wonderful photograph...More

If you visit the church on a weekday it will appear dim and dark like most churches in Tuscany. But come on Sunday for mass and you will be in a different space.

We were very fortunate to see a lovely Italian wedding when we visited. The whole of the hilltop village is worth a wonder around.

You walk along the main street in the old town and suddenly this gorgeous church appears. So beautiful. Exceptional stone works.

It is quite expected to see well-preserved churches in Tuscany but I never get bored of visiting them. Don't just step in, I found the exterior much more interesting than the interior.

It's remarkable how clearly the representations outside La Collegiate di San Quirico remain after so many centuries have passed. Many of the depictions resonate other cultures and suggest to Westerners more exotic and esoteric belief systems. Inside has ironically suffered the ravages of time more...More

The Collegiata is right across from the Palazzo Chigi in San Quirico d'Orcia. It's a beautiful church with marvelous art on the walls...definitely worth a visit when you're in San Quirico!!!

In some ways better preserved from the outside, this beautiful church (and San Andrea at the other end of the town) are two jewels in a diverting morning walking round this pleasant walled town. Fantastic carving and stonework and wonderfully well preserved from the outside.
