This is my second visit to the spa. We discovered it is more expensive to visit at weekends and a lot more busy. If you can visit in the week it is quieter and quite a lot cheaper. But this is worth visiting even if you pay a little more.

Cost $39e each on a Saturday to use the spa/pools. Just bring your bathing suit - they provide a towel, robe, swim cap and sandals. You leave your belongings in the changing room lockers (bring your personal items you want to use at the pools and put it in the tote bag they provide as you cannot bring your own bags). Two pools - a thermal warm pool and a clear water cool pool - plus a grass area to lay in the sun - and downstairs is a sauna. That’s about it. It was full but not crowded on a weekend, as it’s off season (September). Facilities were clean and the vibe mature, relaxing and quiet. Glad there were no kids when we were here. You can go next door to eat lunch or have a drink at their restaurant (you wear your robe over your suit d charge to your locker key number). Not disappointed, but it was small, quaint and more expensive than the other reviews we read. I’m happy we went (was recommended by locals) as a mid day stop during our tour of the valley. PS - prebook if you want a massage (starting at $60e) as it was a 4-5 hr wait when we arrived and had to skip it.

Came here as part of our Tour of Tuscany with Euro Travel Coach (eurotravelcoach .com). Going to the spa was a perfect way to spend our first day in Tuscany. I’ve never been able to get my husband to go to a spa, so I was excited he wanted to partake in this! The baths were amazing and so relaxing. And my husband even enjoyed it! A wonderful experience.

What a wonderful spa. We stayed at this hotel and spent time in the spa. I loved their natural hot springs pool especially. So serene. And right next to the hot springs pool there is a "normal" pool, which is a little bit cooler but still very lovely and warm. At the spa my husband had massage, and I had a prenatal massage (4 months pregnant!). Everything was wonderful. We loved every minute and really got to relax and recharge. Highly recommend! Really friendly staff as well.

The whole family (wife and I, both daughters and their husbands) visited this spa on a Tuesday afternoon. We had made a reservation for 4PM and set up hour massages for all of us (3-4PM; 4-6PM; 6-7 PM). Basically the spa consists of two pools, one relatively hot, the other cooler, as well as a "steam" room/bath. Towels, hairnets and flip-flops are provided as is tea and water (bring you own bathing suit). Although the pools themselves are under a roof, the lounge chairs are in a nice garden. We had a great time lounging and reading, then relaxing in the pools--waiting for our massages to start. There were two masseuse's and 6 of us--so every hour two of us disappeared for a massage. After 3 hours of relation we were hungry, and the small town of Bagno Vignoni had several very good restaurants within an easy walk of the spa. We chose the Michelin rated Osteria del Leone and were not disappointed. It was a great way to spend and afternoon and evening---there were zero complaints. Bagno Vignoni is a very pretty small village with a long history--and visiting the old Roman spa ruins was a bonus. Check out their website for pricing, which varies depending on the season.
